John So is my Bro
As The Age reports Melbourne Lord Mayor John So's popularity has reached new heights as he has been voted the World's Best Mayor in an international pole. Cr So beat 676 other mayors on worldmayor.com to take the title with 16,000 votes, Amsterdam's mayor was second with 11,000.


John So's cult status reached new heights during the Commonwealth Games with huge cheers from the crowd whenever his name was mentioned. Just how did John So become so popular among Melburnians, and now the rest of the world?
